Fees and Bursaries

Every effort has been made to keep fees as low as possible

What happens if a student cannot attend a course after fees have been paid?

  1. All fees are non-refundable (unless a tutor becomes unwell during a Unit and the Unit has to be curtailed, negotiations with the students for future rescheduled dates will be suggested. If it is impossible for LSP to perform their part of the training agreement to the satisfaction of the students, all unused fees will be reimbursed.)
  2. If a student fails to turn up, the fees will be lost.
  3. If a student is ill and cannot attend, then a letter from a GP is required as evidence of acute illness in which case every opportunity will be taken to re-organise a course for a future date.
  4. If a student has booked the wrong course by mistake, then it might be possible to reschedule to the correct course, at the discretion of the Director of Studies. It is the responsibility of any applicant to check booking details carefully before paying fees.
  5. A student on the Diploma Course is obliged to attend Units consecutively without a break- if however there are mitigating circumstances, the student must apply by telephone and by email to the Director of Studies for a deferment of studies - The Administrator will confirm in writing if this has been agreed. If it is agreed, no fees will be lost, but if it is not agreed the fees for the Unit will be lost and the Unit will have to be paid for again.
  6. If a student becomes seriously ill during a Unit and study is interrupted, study will be rescheduled for the future.
