This is an intensive course consisting of daily marionette operating classes, puppet design and then carving a range of hard and soft materials to equip yourself with your own strung marionette to walk out of the workshop at the end of the week. You learn about carving, making different types of joint, finishing and stringing. Sometimes there is time to make costumes.
This course is always exciting and highly stimulating, you learn essential skills easily transferable to other types of puppet-making.
